Placement Specialist

Game Seven Staffing provides Engineering Resources on a contract, contract-to-hire, and project basis. Our clients consist of small start-ups to large Fortune 500 companies in a variety of fields including Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Products, Medical Devices, Military and Defense, Oil and Gas, Mobile and Web Applications, Renewable Energy, Robotics, and Semiconductor.


We are looking for an exceptionally organized individual who will provide on-boarding and administrative support through the hiring process for our contractors and internal hires. Additionally, the Placement Specialist will provide support for our internal team and will assist with all facets of back-office administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in facilitating of new hire on-boarding process for internal and external employees or candidates
  • Act as a key contact for general questions or issues related to on-boarding and monitoring progress to ensure a smooth hiring process for new candidates
  • Prepare and send new hire contract paperwork containing required payroll forms, I-9’s, benefits information as applicable, and other basic company information
  • Coordinate and track pre-employment screening requirements such as background checks and/or drug screens
  • Ensure all required on-boarding paperwork is complete and filed
  • Work collaboratively with our Account Management and Technical Recruiting teams to collect and execute on-boarding documentation and information
  • Assist in weekly timesheet collection and entry
  • Actively contribute to growth and scalability through robust documentation and consistent process optimization for internal and external employees
  • Ability to be a true gatekeeper, while anticipating incoming emails and phone calls

  • Strong mathematical skills to prepare weekly invoices and billings

  • 2- or 4-year degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of equivalent experience
