Engineer Embedded Software 3

Title: Sr. Embedded Software Engineer 
Location: Manhattan Beach, CA - Onsite 
Contract: 13 months, would like to convert them end of contract

Why Hiring:

• Support various flight/space/ground systems with complex data analysis and control algorithms 

End Product: Software for automated test sets/test systems in aerospace programs 

Tech/Domain Environment: 

• C++ 
• VxWorks, Linux 
• RTOS (FreeRTOS, RT-Linux, GH Integrity) 
• Lab instruments (noise and signal generators, logic/spectrum/network analyzers) 

Job Duties: 

• Develop software for real-time operating systems 
• Implement complex data analysis and control algorithms 
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on system design and development 
• Conduct software testing and debugging 
• Prepare operating instructions and utility programs 
• Ensure compliance with software standards 

Must Haves: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET university 
• 8+ years of software development experience 
• Object-Oriented software design and C++ programming in production 
• Experience executing in a RTOS environment (FreeRTOS, RT-Linux, GH Integrity) in production 

Nice to Haves: 

• Experience with software systems architecture development and requirements analysis 
• Familiarity with agile, waterfall, or spiral development processes 
• Experience with hardware validation and verification of RF, digital, or mixed signal devices 

Disqualifiers: 

• Only academic or POC experience with C++ 
• No experience in a fast-paced lab environment
